What is Somatic Life Coaching?

Somatic Life Coaching is a body-centered approach to supporting people through stress, overwhelm, and seasons of change, when life starts to feel like too much.

When life feels like constant pushing forward — or like you’re standing still, unsure of what comes next — this work helps you come back into your body, where clarity, calm, and intuition live.

Through gentle nervous-system support, we focus on creating a sense of internal safety so awareness can move beyond the thinking mind and into lived experience. Over time, clients learn to trust themselves in a deeper way — letting go of patterns or stories that no longer fit, and making changes that feel steady, doable, and aligned.

This work may support you if you...

  • Feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward.

  • Feel disconnected from your inner signals or intuition.

  • Notice stress has been running the show for a long time.

  • Feel exhausted from trying to think your way through everything.

  • Find yourself caught in patterns you can’t seem to shift.

  • Sense that something isn’t working anymore, but feel unclear about what needs to change.

Why Insight Alone Doesn’t Create Change

When stress has been running the show for a long time, the body and nervous system stay in a heightened state. From there, people may rely on familiar patterns — overthinking, pushing through, or shutting down — even when those patterns are no longer working. This isn’t a personal failure; it’s how the nervous system adapts under pressure.

That’s why this work begins by supporting the body and nervous system, not just the thinking mind.

When the body feels more supported and regulated, patterns become easier to recognize without judgment. There is more space to pause, notice what’s happening, and respond differently instead of reacting automatically. Change doesn’t rely on willpower alone — it becomes something the system can actually sustain.

Somatic Life Coaching works with the body as an ally in this process. By bringing awareness into sensation, movement, and breath, stored stress and emotional energy can begin to move instead of staying stuck. This creates an opening to interrupt old patterns and access clearer internal signals.

If this is resonating, a Clarity Call is a space to talk through what’s been coming up and explore what support might look like.

How Action Takes Shape in This Work

In Somatic Life Coaching, action doesn’t begin with doing more or getting it right. It starts with acknowledgment and awareness — noticing what’s actually happening without rushing to change it.

As awareness grows, people begin to recognize when they’re depleted, overwhelmed, or operating on autopilot. From there, action becomes less about pushing forward and more about responding wisely — knowing when to pause, restore, or move.

Action in this work often looks like:

  • Making small, intentional shifts instead of sweeping changes

  • Experimenting with different responses when familiar patterns show up

  • Practicing boundaries, pauses, or regulation tools when stress arises

  • Adjusting choices based on how something feels in the body — not just how it sounds on paper

Rather than following a rigid plan, action remains flexible and responsive. What works one week may need to shift the next — and that isn’t failure, it’s awareness in motion.

Because this work is grounded in the body, action is supported by regulation. As the nervous system feels steadier, people are better able to notice early signs of burnout, recognize when they’re trying to control what isn’t theirs to carry, and make conscious choices about what to engage with — and what to let go of.

Over time, action becomes more sustainable and self-directed. People learn to trust their internal signals, care for their energy, and adjust as needed — knowing when to keep going, and when it’s time to pause or step back.

We work with the body so stress and emotion don’t stay stuck or keep repeating the same loops.

As This Work Unfolds...

This work supports awareness of how stress, emotions, and patterns live in the body — not just in thought.

Over time, clients often begin to:

  • Experience more steadiness, clarity, and regulation in the body and mind

  • Notice stress responses and emotional patterns as they arise in the body

  • Recognize when old stories or habits are driving reactions

  • Feel the difference between operating on autopilot and being present

  • Reconnect with intuition and internal cues that were previously drowned out

Building Trust in Yourself Over Time

Over time, many clients begin to feel more empowered — not because life becomes easier, but because they become more reliant on their own ability to respond, adapt, and make decisions that support them.

Confidence in this work often shows up quietly. Clients start to trust their internal signals, recover more quickly from stress, and feel steadier when navigating decisions or challenges. They rely less on outside validation and more on their own lived experience.

As this trust builds, clients often notice they’re better able to handle life as it actually is — with its ups and downs, unexpected changes, and moments of uncertainty. Instead of feeling thrown off or overwhelmed, they have tools they know how to use, and a deeper sense of confidence in themselves to meet what’s in front of them.

This work supports people in moving through life with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust — not because things stop being hard, but because they know how to support themselves when they are.

What a Session Looks Like

Sessions are 75 minutes and offered online or in person for clients in the Orlando area. Sessions frequency is flexible, depending on what you’re navigating and how much time you want between sessions to integrate the work.

Each session has a clear structure, but it isn’t rigid. I come prepared, and we also stay open to what’s real for you that day. If something important has come up since our last session, we allow that to guide where we go.

A typical session may include:

  • A brief check-in

  • Nervous-system support to help you settle

  • Somatic, body-based work to notice and work with sensations, patterns, or held energy

  • Time to integrate what’s emerged

  • Optional practices to support you between sessions

You don’t need to know what to say or do coming into a session. There’s no expectation to perform, or explain yourself “correctly". We work at a pace your system can handle.

While single sessions are available, this work is often most supportive when done over time. Ongoing sessions (packages) allow space for awareness, integration, and real-life application to unfold gradually.

Ways We Work Together

Single Sessions

Single sessions are available for those who are curious about this work, navigating something specific, or wanting support around a particular moment or transition.

While one session can’t replace the depth that comes from ongoing work, many people experience meaningful shifts even in a single session — especially around nervous system regulation, clarity, and feeling more grounded in their body.

Somatic Life Coaching Packages

Ongoing work offers a supportive container for building safety, trust, and consistency over time. This allows space for awareness to deepen, patterns to unfold at a manageable pace, and new responses to be practiced and integrated into daily life.

Working together over multiple sessions supports:

  • Noticing patterns and stress responses you may not realize are running the show — especially the ones that feel automatic or familiar

  • Learning how to recognize and work with what’s happening in your body, so stress and emotional energy don’t stay stuck or keep repeating the same loops

  • Developing practical tools you can use on your own between sessions to settle your system, regain clarity, and respond differently when life feels intense

  • Creating space for integration, so changes have time to land instead of being rushed

The intention of ongoing work is not dependence. The goal is to support you in building awareness, skills, and confidence so you feel more capable navigating life on your own — with the option to return for support when something new arises.
